# Visualize Your Semantic Model

View an interactive entity-relationship diagram (ERD) of your semantic model.

1. Open the ERD Visualization and right-click `model.json` in your model folder.
2. Select **Visualize Local ERD**.
    
    The ERD displays:
    
    - Nodes representing data objects and logical views with Salesforce-themed icons
    - Edges representing relationships (joins) between entities
    - Interactive elements for exploring your model
3. Interact with the ERD.
    
    - Click a node to open a sidebar with the entity's dimensions, measurements, and calculated fields.
    - Click an edge to view relationship details including cardinality and join fields.
    - Use **Jump to Code** from the sidebar to navigate directly to the entity's JSON definition.
    
    Use graph controls to **Fit All**, **Reset Zoom**, or **Re-layout** the diagram. Node positions are automatically saved and restored between sessions.
4. (Optional) Organize or autogenerate groupings.
    
    To organize data objects into visual groups based on naming conventions:
    
    1. Right-click `model.json`.
    2. Select **Auto-Generate Groups**.
        
        The extension analyzes object names and creates logical groupings in the ERD.
