Before you begin, ensure that you have the required software and org configuration.

- VS Code 1.85.0 or later ([Download](https://code.visualstudio.com/))
- Salesforce CLI (sf) for authentication ([Install](https://developer.salesforce.com/tools/salesforcecli))
- Salesforce Extension Pack (install from the [Visual Studio Code Extensions Marketplace](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/))
- A Salesforce org with Data 360 and the Semantic Layer enabled
- Git, for version history features (optional) ([Download](https://git-scm.com/downloads))
