# Edit or Delete a Metric

Keep your data model current by updating metric configurations or removing them. Deleting a metric removes it from all associated reports and dashboards.

### Required Editions

1. In Data Cloud, on the Semantic Layer tab, select a data model.
2. On the Model pane, expand **Metrics**.
3. Click the metric that you want to edit, and make your changes.
4. To delete a metric, click the Options menu, and select **Remove**.
