# Create Apps and App Templates

Create an Analytics app and all its assets in your scratch org, then turn it into a template to migrate it to other orgs. Templates let you distribute your app to customers, partners, and other teams in your company. They can use the template to create a custom version of the app using their own data. Use VS Code with Analytics plugins to create, customize, and test your templates. VS Code enables the creation of Analytics projects, making team development and merging into GitHub a breeze.
