# Reuse Results for Data 360 Live Queries

Balance dashboard performance and data freshness by configuring how long to reuse query results. CRM Analytics reuses results when you run the same query with the same data access. This reuse improves dashboard responsiveness and reduces repeated queries. Set how long results remain valid before retrieving fresh data.

Data 360 typically doesn't use the cache for Bring Your Own Lake (BYOL) sources or for queries that include volatile functions (for example, now()), because it doesn't track underlying changes.

When you configure result reuse, you opt to use a snapshot for these scenarios instead of constantly querying the source. Reusing results reduces processing costs because Data 360 computes a single record instead of the full dataset.
