Searchable Fields: People

Searchable fields for People Salesforce Classic include various standard and custom fields that are relevant to people. These fields can depend on an organization's configuration and customization.

Available in: Contact Manager, Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

Sidebar search and advanced search aren’t designed to find people; however, sidebar search and advanced search can be used to find users.

To find people, use global search or the search tools on the People tab.

Note Information in hidden fields on a profile isn’t searchable by other partners and customers in the Experience Cloud site, but is searchable by users in the company’s internal org.
