# Searchable Fields: Document

Searchable fields for Document Salesforce Classic include various standard and custom fields that are relevant to the document. These fields can depend on an organization's configuration and customization.

### Required Editions

To find a document, use global search or the **Find Document** button on the Documents tab. Sidebar search and advanced search aren’t designed to find documents.
