# Select Which Objects to Always Search in Global Search

For new and inactive users, Einstein sometimes doesn’t have enough data to accurately determine which objects to search. For these users, search results can exclude important objects. Select objects to always search for a user profile to ensure that important objects are always included. You need a global search configuration to define objects to always search.

Search results are a combination of:

- Objects that Einstein Search considers relevant based on the number of user search interactions and clicks during the past 90 days.
- Objects that you select in a Search Manager configuration as objects to always search.

Assign objects to each user profile or accept the default search profile.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Search Manager, and then select **Query Configurations**.
2. Click the global search configuration for the user profile.

If you don’t have a global search configuration, see [Customize Global Search for Your Users](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.search_manager_configure.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Optimize global search for each user profile’s needs and help them find relevant results quickly. For example, your sales agents search for customer contacts and opportunities, while marketing agents primarily search for campaigns and leads. Customize search differently for these two user profiles.").
3. Under Always Search, click ![Add icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-ai-search-264-0-0-production-enus/6a28c936-3b68-4186-bc09-7ab905f33ef3/search/images/add_60.png).
4. Move up to five objects to the Selected Objects list.

For example, if marketing users always search for leads, select the Lead object.
5. Save your changes.

Your changes apply immediately.
