# Create the Permission Set for the Salesforce MCP Server (Optional)

Creating a permission set is optional but recommended. Without one, access is available to everyone in the org.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and select **Permission Sets**.
2. Create a permission set for the users who should have access to this Salesforce in Claude product line.
