Create a Q in Connect Assistant

Create a Q in Connect assistant and associate it with the Amazon Connect instance.

If the instance already has a Q in Connect assistant, continue to the next step.

  1. To create the assistant and associate it with the instance, run this command. 
    aws qconnect create-assistant \
  --name my-assistant \
  --type AGENT \
  --region <REGION>
  2. To associate the assistant with the instance, run this command. 
    aws connect create-integration-association \
  --instance-id <CONNECT_INSTANCE_ID> \
  --integration-type WISDOM_ASSISTANT \
  --integration-arn <ASSISTANT_ARN> \
  --region <REGION>
  3. Save the assistant ID and ARN. You’ll use them later.
