Delete a custom subagent from the asset library when you no longer want it to be available to add to your agents. You can’t delete a standard subagent from the asset library.
Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience |
| Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. Required add-on licenses vary by agent type. |
Note Beginning in April 2026, agent topics are now called subagents. There are no
changes to functionality. During this transition, you may see a mix of the new and previous
terms in our documentation.
| User Permissions Needed | |
|---|---|
| To delete a subagent: | Manage AI Agents AND the required permissions for your agent type |
- From Setup, enter Agentforce Assets, and then select Agentforce Assets.
- From the Subagents tab, click the dropdown menu next to the subagent you want to delete. Then select Delete.
Your subagent is deleted from the asset library. Any actions included in the subagent aren’t automatically deleted from the asset library. If you added the subagent to an agent from the asset library, an independent copy of that subagent was added to the agent. Deleting the subagent from the asset library doesn’t remove the subagent or any of its associated actions from agents it was added to.
