# Use the Answer Questions with Knowledge Action

Connect your agent to a data library for structured, citation-rich responses grounded in your indexed content.

To use Agentforce Data Libraries, you must have Data 360 [set up](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_setup_provision.htm&language=en_US&type=5). Data libraries consume Data 360 credits.

Before you begin, make sure your agent has the Answer Questions with Knowledge action assigned and your data library status is Ready.

When you create and configure a data library, the Agentforce Data Library indexes your selected knowledge articles and uploaded files in Data 360. Data 360 creates a search index and retriever for your library that your agent can use via the Answer Questions with Knowledge action.

1. Under Apps, open **Agentforce Studio** and select your target agent.
2. Under the **Data** tab, use the dropdown menu to select an existing library. To create a new one, click **Go to Agentforce Data Library**. Ensure the library status is Ready.
    
    If you select or create a library, you can configure the [knowledge fields](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.data_library_select_fields.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Select the knowledge fields for your data library to index.") or [file uploads](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.data_library_file_upload.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Select the files to upload for your data library to index.") for your data library to index. If you create a library, it can take a few minutes for the preview conversation to update.
3. To include citations in the agent's output, select **Show Sources**.
4. Save your changes. To test out your changes, restart the preview conversation and then chat with your agent.
