Edit your MCP server’s details, tools, and policies, or delete your MCP server registration entirely.
Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience |
| Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. Required add-on licenses vary by agent type. |
- Edit MCP Server Details
You can edit a server’s description. If your server uses OAuth 2.0, you can edit the identity provider URL, scope, client ID, and client secret. The server name, server URL, and authentication method aren’t editable. - MCP Risk Score
When you register a third-party Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in Agentforce, Salesforce scans the server's tools and assigns each a risk score. Use the risk score to make informed decisions before allowing the server's tools to access your Salesforce data. - Allow or Remove Access to MCP Tools
Add and remove MCP tools from your allowlist to manage access. - Manually Apply Policies from an MCP Server Record Page
Apply a policy to your MCP server to control access, set usage limits, and ensure compliance. You can add Agentforce Gateway policies that are available to apply manually. - Resolve Out-of-Sync MCP Server Issues
MCP server providers own their servers and can change server and tool settings at any time. Server-side changes make your current registration settings out of sync, which can adversely affect agents that rely on MCP server tools. Agentforce identifies the issue, flags a registered MCP server or tool as Out of Sync, and notifies an admin. Resolve the issue by following the applicable steps. - Delete an MCP Server Registration
Delete your server from Agentforce Registry to remove the connection to the server from Salesforce.
