## Manage Employee Agent Access in Agentforce Builder

To give users access to an Agentforce Employee agent created in Agentforce Builder, add permission sets or profiles on the agent's Agent Access page.

1. Open your Agentforce Employee agent in Agentforce Builder.
2. On the Explorer panel, under **Settings**, click **Agent Access**.
3. Add or remove the permission sets and profiles that give users access to the agent.

You can also give users access from Setup. In the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets or Profiles, select a permission set or profile, edit the Enabled Agent Access settings, select the Agentforce Employee agents to give users access to, and then click **Save**.

Only Agentforce Employee agents appear in the Enabled Agent Access list. If an active agent isn't available to select, confirm that it's an Agentforce Employee agent.

Important If your Agentforce Employee agent is connected to an Experience Cloud site, it runs in the context of the logged-in site user, and access is governed by that user's permission sets and profile. Experience Cloud sites often share a single profile across many external users with the same license. To restrict agent access to specific users instead of everyone on a shared profile, use a permission set: enable the agent on the permission set, then [assign that permission set only to the individual users](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.perm_sets_manage_assignments.htm&type=5&language=en_US) you want to have access. For more information about visibility on Experience Cloud sites, see [Who Can See What in Experience Cloud Sites](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.networks_visibility.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

## Manage Employee Agent Access in the Legacy Agentforce Builder

To give users access to an Agentforce Employee agent in the legacy builder, you can add permission sets or profiles on the Agent Access tab or add agents to a permission set or profile.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Agent, and then select **Agentforce Agents**.
2. On the Agentforce Agents Setup page, click the name of your agent to open its Details page.
3. Select the **Agent Access** tab.

The Agent Access tab shows a maximum of 2000 permission sets or profiles. If your environment has more than 2000, not all records are visible or searchable in the list.
4. On the **Permission Sets with Agent Access** or **Profiles with Agent Access** tab, click **Add**.
5. Select permission sets or profiles and then click **Add**.

To remove access to an Agentforce Employee agent, select permission sets or profiles on the Agent Access tab and then click **Remove**.
