# Activate the MCP Server

Turn on the MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server so Claude can connect to your org.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter MCP Servers, and select **MCP Servers**.
2. Select **Headless360 (H360) MCP Server**.
3. Click **Activate**.

Next, optionally [create the permission set](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.create_the_permission_set.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Creating a permission set is optional but recommended. Without one, access is available to everyone in the org.") to limit access. Otherwise, skip ahead to [create and configure the External Client App (ECA)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.create_and_configure_the_eca.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "The External Client App (ECA) connects Claude to your org's MCP Server through OAuth. If you created a permission set, assign it to the ECA as part of this task.").
